  • Account information — name, email address, password (hashed), role (attendee, organizer, ambassador), and profile details you choose to provide.
  • Order and ticket information events purchased, ticket types, order totals, buyer name and email, optional phone number (for SMS notifications where enabled), and check-in status.
  • Guest checkout data — if you buy tickets without an account, we collect the contact details you provide to fulfil your order and send tickets.
  • Organizer and event data — event details, payout information, team members, and verification documents where required.
  • Usage data — pages visited, device type, browser, IP address, and similar technical logs used for security and analytics.
  • Communications — messages you send us via contact forms or support email.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process ticket orders and deliver confirmations
  • Generate and validate QR tickets for event entry
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, ticket delivery, password resets)
  • Send SMS notifications where you have provided a phone number and opted in
  • Enable organizers to manage events, attendees, and check-in
  • Process payments and organizer payouts
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve Platform security, performance, and features
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Event organizers — when you buy a ticket, the Organizer receives the information needed to manage the event (e.g. name, email, ticket type, check-in status).
  • Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the Platform, including:
    • Supabase (database and authentication)
    • Resend (transactional email)
    • Fygaro (payment processing)
    • Vercel (hosting)
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Order and ticket records may be kept for accounting and audit purposes even after an event has concluded.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Opt out of marketing communications (transactional emails will still be sent)

Tixago is based in Jamaica. If you access the Platform from outside Jamaica, your information may be transferred to and processed in Jamaica or other countries where our service providers operate.
