Terms of Service

Tixagois an online marketplace that connects event organizers ("Organizers") with ticket buyers ("Attendees"). We provide tools for event listing, ticket sales, payment processing, attendee management, and check-in. We are not the organizer of events listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tixago.net if you suspect unauthorized access.

Organizers must comply with our verification requirements where applicable and are responsible for the accuracy of event information they publish.

When you purchase a ticket, you enter into a contract directly with the Organizer. Tixago facilitates the transaction but does not guarantee the quality, safety, or occurrence of any event.

Ticket prices, fees, and availability are set by Organizers. Platform fees may apply and will be disclosed at checkout. All sales are subject to the Organizer's refund and cancellation policy unless otherwise required by law.

Tickets are non-transferable unless the Organizer enables transfer or reissuance. Each QR code or ticket code is valid for one entry unless stated otherwise.

Refund requests must be directed to the event Organizer in the first instance. Organizers set their own refund policies. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the Organizer is responsible for communicating with Attendees and processing refunds where applicable.

Tixago may assist with communication but is not obligated to issue refunds on behalf of Organizers except where required by applicable law or where we explicitly agree to do so in writing.

Organizers agree to:

• Provide accurate event details (date, time, venue, pricing, capacity)
• Honour valid tickets and run check-in fairly
• Comply with applicable laws, permits, and venue requirements
• Handle attendee enquiries and refund requests promptly
• Not list fraudulent, illegal, or misleading events

We reserve the right to remove events or suspend Organizer accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Platform community.

You may not:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Platform operations
• Circumvent ticket limits, resale restrictions, or check-in controls
• Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with an event

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (including Fygaro). By completing a purchase, you agree to their terms as applicable. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

Organizer payouts are subject to verification, minimum thresholds, and processing timelines as described in the Organizer dashboard.

The Tixago name, logo, and Platform design are owned by Jandy eServices. Event content (images, descriptions, branding) remains the property of respective Organizers. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jandy eServices and Tixago shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, attendance at events, or transactions with Organizers. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
